DOHA (9 June) – Direct negotiations between the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) and the Sudanese Government have not yet started in Doha. Jaafar Abdel Hakam, the government spokesperson told Radio Dabanga, that the delegation discussed the working plan for Darfur presented by the mediating team. He further said that there are some contagious issues left regarding the cease-fire and release of prisoners. But he added that these points should be overcome. He said that all parties agreed on the working action plan presented by the mediators
