‘Trial or release Darfur human rights activist’

DARFUR (29 September) – The association of lawyers of Darfur (Darfur Bar Association) called on the government to take the activist Abdel Majud Salah for trial or to release him. The association accused the ruling party that the arrest is a political conspiracy. The association said the arrest is against the constitution and against all human rights charters. The association secretary and spokesperson Al Sadig Ali Hassan told radio Dabanga that Abdel Majud is suffering health problems. He was not allowed to receive his family and his whereabouts  is unknown. This is a violation of human rights.
