Letter of Condolence on the Tragic Death of Ambassador Bashua
Dear Ambassador Jermiah Mamabolo
The UNAMID Joint Special Representative
It was with great sadness and shock to learn that ambassador Abiodum Bashua was
among the death of the tragic incident of the Ethiopian Flight.
Ambassador Bashua was a great man dedicated many years of his life serving our
people in Darfur, promoting peace, security and stability, helping and alleviating
suffering of the needed people, building bridges between communities, working for
reconciliation and coexistence.
On behalf of Justice and Equality Movement leadership, I would like to extend to your
Excellency our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences, through you to the entire
staff and personnel of UNAMID, and to his family at this difficult time.
May his soul rest in peace
