In continuation of its attacks on civilians, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) committed a new massacre in the villages of North Darfur, targeting the areas of Bir Mezzeh, Braidak, Donkey Bashim, Drishqi, Hillat Abu Zakaria, Hillat Abu Musa, Hillat Haroun, Hillat Amoh, Hillat Adam Hamdoun, Hillat Abu Juma’a, Hillat Muhammad Abotti, Hillat Kalmet, Hillat Qassoub, Hillat Adbo, Hillat Ishaq Taher, Hillat Idris Daqqou, Hillat Siddiq Barra, Hillat Abdullah Abkar. During these attacks, (RSF) killed many innocent people and forced more than 13 A thousand unarmed citizens to flee as well as looted their property.

(JEM) condemns these crimes and stresses that these acts represent part of a systematic plan for displacement and targeting based on tribal and regional, that the killing, looting, intimidation and displacement committed by RSF militia in North Darfur is an extension of its crimes against civilians in all areas of its deployme

Such atrocities amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, they are egregious breaches of humanitarian law; and the concept of non-impunity necessitates strong international denunciation and deterrence accountability. UN Security Council must also officially recognize RSF as a terrorist organization for this to happen.

JEM extends its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, calls for a speedy recovery for the injured, and urges humanitarian organizations, civil society organizations and national initiatives to provide support to civilians in the affected areas.

JEM affirms that it and its comrades in the joint force are protecting citizens under the command of Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and reaffirms that all efforts will be exerted in the battle of (ALKARAMA) and the safeguarding of civilian lives, as well as the unity and safety of Sudan.
