KHARTOUM (27 July) – The Justice and Equality Movement vowed not to participate anymore in a new round of Doha negotiations unless the Government is implementing goodwill agreement. The movement requested the joint mediator, the government of Qatar, the US-envoy to Sudan and the international community to exercise pressure on the Sudanese government to improve the humanitarian situation in Darfur. The movement criticized the announcement of the Undersecretary General of the United Nations in charge of the peacekeeping operations for describing the situation on the ground as being improved.
