CAIRO, July 28 (KUNA) — The Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia in the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmed Qattan said on Tuesday that his government decided to allocate SR 70 million in urgent relief to troubled Darfur region, noting that it will be provided directly by Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
In a press statement, the Ambassador pointed out that this support came in implementation of Doha Arab Summit’s decision on supporting peace and unity in Sudan.
