SANAA, June 10 (KUNA) — A large fishing boat docked on Wednesday on the beach of Midi island west of Yemen, where 400 Sudanese men and women descended, a security source said.
The source said an investigation was opened to determine how they accessed to the island, located deep in the waters off Yemen, he said.
Yemen has suffered from the plight of the refugees’ waves from Somalia, Ethiopia and Africa.
More than 800,000 refugees of various nationalities have settled in Yemen.
